Unthread ("the app") is a puzzle game for Android. This policy explains what the app collects, what it does not collect, and who else receives data when you play.
What the app itself collects
Unthread has no accounts and no sign-in. It does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. Your level progress, statistics and settings are stored only on your own device and are never sent to us.
Advertising
Unthread shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To select and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID);
- coarse, non-precise location inferred from your IP address;
- device information such as model, operating system version, and language;
- information about which ads were requested, shown, viewed or tapped.
Google processes this information as an independent controller. How Google uses data from apps that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and in the Google Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy
Your choices
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads, and you can change that choice at any time inside the app under Settings, "Privacy options".
On any Android device you can also reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation entirely, from the system Settings under Google, "Ads".
Children
Unthread is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Retention and deletion
The app holds no personal data of its own, so there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored progress and settings from your device. To have advertising data handled differently, use the Google controls linked above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
