Mechanics: Rolling Without Slipping

Purpose:
To demonstrate the relationship between linear and angular displacement for an object rolling without slipping.

Description: 

1. Measure the diameter of the disk (approx. 14.5 cm)

2. Set the disk next to a meter stick and roll it through one revolution.

3. Measure the displacement of the center of the disk and compare it 2*pi*r
