Mechanics: Inclined Normal Force

Purpose:
To demonstrate the how normal force varies with angle.

Description: 

A weight is placed on a digital scale that sits on a wooden plank. As the plank is inclined the reading on the scale decreases.

Equipment:
Digital scale, mass, wooden plank (or dynamics track)
