Electricity & Magnetism: EM Induction Coil

Purpose: 

To observe the dependence a solenoid's number of coils has on the current generated by a nearby moving magnet.

Description: 

Compare the galvanometer readings (and direction of current flow) while moving a magnet in and out of a solenoid. Two different solenoids, each with different number of turns, are available.

NOTE: Make sure magnet is strongly magnetized and all connections are good before using this equipment.
