We value your privacy. The app is designed to be a utility tool; therefore:
Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII).
Link Data: When you unshorten a URL, the app sends a request via the dio library to follow the redirect path. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored on any external servers managed by us.
Camera Access: The app uses the mobile_scanner library to access your camera. This is used strictly for scanning QR codes locally on your device. We do not record, save, or transmit your camera feed.
To function correctly, the app requires the following:
Internet Access: To fetch the final destination of shortened URLs.
Camera: To scan QR codes.
External Browser: The url_launcher dependency is used to open links in your preferred browser at your explicit request.
The app's purpose is to reveal third-party URLs. Once you click a link to open it in a browser, you are subject to the privacy policy of that specific website. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites.
Since we do not collect data, we have nothing to retain. All processing happens locally or via direct transient network requests.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
The Unshorten app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Use of the app is at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that your data will be 100% secure from device-side failures.
