Set against the backdrop of the Port of Nice aboard the ArtExplorer catamaran, this high-level event will bring together government ministers, multilateral institutions, Indigenous leaders, environmental advocates, and industry representatives for the unveiling of a bold new international initiative. Aimed at tackling the growing threat of ocean noise pollution—an invisible but critical challenge to marine biodiversity—the event will mark a pivotal moment in catalyzing coordinated action to restore a quieter, healthier ocean. At its core is the announcement of an international high ambition coalition and the signing of a joint ministerial declaration—an unprecedented political commitment to elevate ocean noise on the global agenda and drive practical solutions through collective leadership.
Due to space limitations aboard the boat, entry to this event is by invitation only.
