UNIST 디자인학과는 2024년 여름, 동경 대학교의 DLX 연구실과 합동 워크샵을 진행했다. DLX 연구원 2인과 'Beyond 5G: Ubiquitous Navigation'을 주제로 진행된 워크샵은, 6G 시대의 자동화 네비게이팅 시스템에 대한 아이디에이션이 다루어졌다. 해당 워크샵에서 DXI 학생들의 아이디어가 채택, 2025년 겨울 동경 대학교의 인턴 프로그램에 참가하여 'Next Generation of Bicycle,' 다음 세대의 자전거 디자인을 제안 및 시연하였다.

In the summer of 2024, UNIST organized a joint workshop with the DLX Lab at the University of Tokyo. The workshop, themed “Beyond 6G: Ubiquitous Navigation,” covered ideas for navigational systems in the 6G era. The ideas from the workshop were adopted by DXI students, who will participate in an intern program at the University of Tokyo in the winter of 2025 to propose and demonstrate the design of the next generation of bicycles.
