The goal of this event is to bring leaders in information about teaching learning pedagogy in twenty first century.

Prof. Rameshwar Adhikari

Prof. Rameshwar Adhikari studied Chemistry at Tribhuvan University (TU), Kathmandu; and then graduated from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany in 2001.

He also served as Executive Director at RECAST (2017-2020) and as a visiting Professor at Rouen University (France), Mahatma Gandhi University (India), and the Kyoto Institute of Technology (Japan). He serves currently as an Adjunct Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, and SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tamilnadu, India.

He is a Fellow of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) and recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Fellowship, and also served as Ambassador Scientist of the AvH Foundation (2012-2016). He is a recipient of POLY-CHAR International Materials Science Prize and Technology Award of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST).

Prof. Adhikari is currently a Scientific Committee Member of POLY-CHAR, the International Polymer Characterization Forum, a Steering Committee Member of the Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (APCYS), a Life member of Nepal Chemical Society and a founding member, and currently the president of Nepal Polymer Institute (NPI).

His research areas include polymers, biomaterials, nanotechnology, and natural products. He has (co)authored 250+ research papers in peer-reviewed journals and 8 books; guided 20 PhD researchers (10 completed) and more than 120 Masters and Bachelor Projects.

Prof. Adhikari has been passionately involved in promoting and mobilizing Young Scientists' Activities in the country for the last 20 years.



 Dr. Shyam Prasad Acharya

Dr. Shyam Prasad Acharya is a distinguished educator and researcher with a diverse academic background and a passion for curriculum development and educational assessment. Holding degrees in BSc, Med, and a PhD, Dr. Acharya has dedicated his career to advancing educational practices in Nepal.

With a wealth of experience, Dr. Acharya has served as a senior researcher at the Education Review Office under the Government of Nepal, where he honed his expertise in evaluating and improving educational systems. Currently, he serves as a curriculum officer at the Curriculum Development Center, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of the nation.

Dr. Acharya is renowned for his dynamic approach to teacher training and professional development. He has conducted numerous seminars and training sessions on various aspects of teaching and learning methodologies, assessment effectiveness, curriculum formulation, and execution strategies. Through these initiatives, he strives to empower educators with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance student outcomes and foster a culture of continuous improvement in education.

In addition to his practical contributions, Dr. Acharya is also a prolific scholar, having published several articles in both national and international journals. His research delves into critical issues in education, offering insights and recommendations for enhancing teaching practices and educational policies. Dr. Shyam Prasad Acharya's unwavering commitment to educational excellence and innovation continues to inspire positive change in the Nepalese education system, making him a respected figure in the field of education and curriculum development.

Er. Rojesh Man Shikhrakar

Rojesh Man Shikhrakar leads Fusemachines’ AI Education function. He has extensive hands-on experience in machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, designing algorithms and application development. Mr. Shikhrakar oversees the development and deployment of Fusemachines’ comprehensive AI curriculum, and also manages an elite team of AI Instructors. Through Fusemachines AI fellowship program he has trained hundreds of AI engineers. He is also a member of the academic subject committee as well as visiting faculty  at Kathmandu University Computer Science department, where he teaches Data Science and Data Engineering Courses to Undergraduate and Graduate Students.

Mr. Shikhrakar holds a Bachelor of Technology degree and a Master of Science in Mechanical System Design. He holds 100+ certifications from different organisations. He has extensive expertise and experience in Robotics and computer vision, as well as the design and development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for medical deliveries, topography surveys, 3D reconstruction, urban planning and more. Mr. Shikhrakar’s current AI research interests include Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and theory guided data science.
