Advisor
Kerrington is a Doctoral Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant in Michigan State University’s School of Human Resources and Labor Relations, where her research through the ANDIE Lab focuses on workplace rights among workers with disabilities. As an MSU Undergraduate, she served as Executive Administrator and President of UNICEF at MSU.
"UNICEF was a large part of my undergraduate experience at MSU. I dedicated hundreds of hours to service and advocacy, even lobbying on Capitol Hill with UNICEF USA. My roles on the Executive Board taught me that leadership and organizational success are inseparable from the people who make them possible, while UNICEF challenged me to think about advocacy beyond the walls of the university. Becoming Advisor was an unexpected but meaningful opportunity to reconnect with UNICEF’s mission, mentor students as they grow as leaders and advocates, and give back to an organization that shaped much of who I am professionally."
