This document is to help set you up for joining an Underwood Church Service or Sunday School online.
We will be using the ZOOM video chat service. Please follow these directions to join us.
FOR JOINING FOR SUNDAY SERVICE ON ZOOM...
1.You can click the link below to join us at 10am on Sundays for service.
The link for Sunday Service going forward is: tinyurl.com/und20
○You can also open a web browser on your device and type in that tinyurl web address to get to our room. Note: that is an “L” after the r near the beginning, not a 1.
2.If for some reason going to that address does not work, you can go to www.zoom.us and click on JOIN
A MEETING and enter this information to join the service:

3.If you need to or prefer to dial in by phone, you may choose one of these numbers and use the same
Meeting ID and Password listed above when prompted:

Once you connect you will join the room. Your microphone will be MUTED as you enter the service and your video camera will be OFF. You are welcome to click and turn them on. Please be familiar with how to MUTE and UN-MUTE your microphone during the service -- click on the little microphone icon at bottom center of the screen. If it’s RED, we don’t hear you. :)
ZOOM DIRECTIONS
To be prepared on your home computer, follow these steps 5-10 minutes before your scheduled video chat:
1.Go to www.zoom.us
2.Click JOIN A MEETING
3.Enter the CODE provided for the meeting
If you have never used Zoom, a window may appear and start automatically downloading Zoom.
OR, follow this direction on screen or click to DOWNLOAD AND RUN ZOOM.
At this point, if you have Zoom installed on your machine, you will get a message similar to this one to “Open Zoom.us” and proceed.
When you go to “Download & Run Zoom” -- you will be prompted to INSTALL FROM THE CHROME WEB STORE. Click that button to proceed and follow any on screen items to continue.
After Zoom is installed, you can run Zoom and choose JOIN A MEETING
1.Enter the MEETING CODE for the room
2.Fill in YOUR NAME for how others in the video chat will see you
3.Click JOIN
4.When prompted for the password for the room, please enter the PASSWORD and choose JOIN WITH
VIDEO (you can always turn this off later if you wish)
Note: You can also install ZOOM on your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone if you prefer!
