Animation and video

At TL we have a stand for the iPad with the possibility of several extra functions when filming. In addition to a light (the square you can see on top of the stand in the picture) the stand has microphone holders, earmuffs so you can hear while filming and a teleprompter. A teleprompter is a small glass plate in front of the camera lens where you can see the text that is to be said using a mobile phone. Here we use the app "parrot" where you can easily add a script, so it is easy to record a longer film with a lot of speech.

An animation box is a creative tool that allows you to make your own stop-motion films with various materials. You can use plasticine, paper, toys or whatever you want. The animation box has two glass plates on which you can place your objects. This gives you the opportunity to create multiple layers in your films, which creates depth and variety. The animation box also has an integrated light that provides a clear and even image.

Green screen works as a background for both photography and video recording. There are several applications available that can remove the green background and replace it with another.

This is often used in, for example, weather forecasting, news, in films where CGI/computer animation is used to create backgrounds, or in online video production where the person recording or streaming only needs themselves in the picture and without any background.

At TL we have both a large and a small green screen. Let us know if you want to use the large one, and we will hang it for you!
