Zachariah Root

Zachariah Root was one of the older people transported to Louisiana. He was listed at being about 45 years old in 1838. While he was transported to Louisiana it is not clear what happened in his life after that point. It is possible that he passed away shortly after being transported, or changed his name. More research is needed to try to locate Zachariah Root in additional records.
