Natus Berryman

Natus Berryman, despite his unique name, Natus has not been found in records after he was transported to Louisiana. It's possible that he shortened his name to Nat, as a Nat of the correct age does appear in the Freedmen's Bureau records.  More research is needed to determine if Natus Berryman and Nat are the same.
