John Richard

John Richard or Richards first appears in an 1830 deed agreement between George Hay, James Monroe, and Robert Stannard. He was sent to work at Ashfield, George Hay's plantation. He was sent to Alhambra plantation and appears in the Freedmen' Bureau records 

This is the last record that John has been found in. There is no indication who his family was or who he left behind in Virginia. There are still many questions to be answered about the life of John Richard.
