The University of Liverpool is pleased to announce a half-day workshop on Uncertainty Quantification and Management with uncertain number in Python. The workshop will engage the members of the DAWS2 project (Development of Advanced Wing Solution 2) with hands-on experiences, and also provides a forum to discuss how uncertainty can be better managed in various aspects of aerospace engineering practices and motivate collaborative research activities.
The main objective of this workshop is to demonstrate the software toolkit to implement uncertainty quantification and management modules with particular attention to uncertainty characterisation and uncertainty propagation. It is aimed to foster research and collaborations on methodologies, applications, related to uncertainty quantification at different scales, implication for the design, safety case, interaction among systems and resilience.
