i have found myself in the same room far away in utah i was in months ago when i wrote this page. i no longer feel that this page completely conveys what i want it to convey, and my position has shifted on some of this. annotations are in creepster font.
you know, the internet used to be owned by people like us. (i was not alive for that) not by any google or microsoft or any other of these kazillion-dollar corporations. even if they still used corporate products to do so, (this is still true. this site is made on google sites) people really held up the internet by using using their novice skillset to weave a massive web of hyperlinked humanity. (cheesy)

The Corporate takeover of the internet currently stands as one of the biggest detriments to art. (art is still thriving in this day and age, although i beleive that corporations kill art in any medium) Nowadays most of the websites anyone will visit are owned by the same handful of companies, and even if they aren't they are most likely purely profit based. (has always been the case that, if you looked, the internet is not all like this. its just harder to find now. go look for websites NOW or i will eat you with my big sharp teeth)

With the next wave of the internet classified by it's complete lack of human interaction peering over the horizon, what can we do? (referring to web3. i still do not like web3, but, once again, go look for the indieweb. it is really awesome and the internet is cool still, and it will always exists ok thanks!)
