Overview UMOG ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using UMOG you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
Facial Images: Photos you submit for analysis. These are transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our AI processing backend (Rork Toolkit, toolkit.rork.com) solely to generate your facial assessment and looksmaxxed preview. Backend retention is governed by Rork's policies; we do not maintain a separate copy of your photos on our own servers.
AI-Generated Results: Scores, written feedback, and AI-enhanced images produced from your photos. These are stored locally on your device only.
Apple Sign-In Data: If you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple-assigned user identifier and, at your discretion, your name and email address. This data is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device.
Preferences: Settings such as theme, text size, language, and notification preferences are saved locally using iOS UserDefaults.
Purchase Data: Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat on our behalf. RevenueCat may collect your Apple ID purchase information. Please review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com.
How We Use Your Information
Facial Analysis: Your photos are sent to our AI backend to compute facial feature scores, generate personalized improvement tips, and create AI-enhanced preview images.
App Functionality: Scan history, scores, and results are stored locally to power the History tab, progress graph, and MOGMAX recommendations.
Authentication: Apple ID credentials are used only to maintain your login session and restore it across app launches.
Notifications: If you enable daily reminders, we schedule a local notification on your device. No personal data leaves your device for this feature.
Data Storage & Retention All scan images and results are stored exclusively on your device. UMOG does not operate a user-facing cloud database or sync your data across devices. You can permanently delete all data at any time via Settings → Data → Clear All Data. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data.
Third-Party Services
Rork Toolkit: Our AI analysis backend. Receives base64-encoded images over HTTPS for processing. Images are not stored after analysis.
RevenueCat: Manages in-app subscriptions and purchase validation. Subject to RevenueCat's own privacy policy.
Apple: Sign In with Apple and App Store subscriptions are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy).
Permissions We Request
Camera: Required to take photos for analysis. Used only when you initiate a scan.
Photo Library: Required to select existing photos for analysis. Used only when you initiate a scan.
Notifications: Optional. Used only for daily scan reminders you explicitly enable.
Children's Privacy UMOG is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Your Rights & Choices
Delete Your Data: Use Settings → Data → Clear All Data to erase all scan history and results from your device.
Revoke Permissions: You can revoke camera, photo library, or notification permissions at any time through iOS Settings.
Sign-Out: Signing out via Settings → Account → Logout clears your authentication state from the device.
GDPR & CCPA: Residents of the EU and California have additional rights regarding their personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
Security We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS for all API communication and iOS Keychain encryption for authentication credentials. While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
