My name is Katie Ream and I'm a junior from Holliston, Massachusetts. I am a physics major that is also interested in music and I plan to attend graduate school after graduating from University of Michigan in high energy particle physics. I am currently on the board for Society of Physics students as the advocacy/social media chair. I also am a part of phi sigma pi national honors fraternity as their social chair and the women's glee club as their social media chair outside of physics! During my time as an undergraduate student, I have had the opportunity to work on the ATLAS project and Spitz neutrino group. Additionally I have experience in both the UMich summer REU program as well as the Uchicago summer REU program.
