I remember that the principal victims of McCarthyism in the world of cinema were the filmmakers Cyril Entfield, John Berry, Jules Dassin, and Joseph Losey, as well as the script-writer Dalton Trumbo. All of them went into exile, except Dalton Trumbo, who was obliged to work under assumed names for several years.

I remember that Audie Murphy was the most decorated American soldier of the Second World War and that he became an actor after having played himself in a (mediocre) film recounting his heroic exploits.

I remember that once the counter and the kitchen area of the restaurant La Petite Source in Boulevard Saint-Germain were situated on the right of the entrance and not, as now, on the left in the back.

my intelliJ app has Git Toolbox plugin which checks git via SSH every 10 minutes. Due to this, I continuously get 1Password 8 on macOS asking if I want to allow this PHPStorm to access the SSH key.

Can you please add an option to remember the setting? Otherwise I need to revert moving to the 1password 8 SSH agent.

In remembering those who have died saving lives and defending our nation, words often fall short in recognizing the magnitude of these heroes' sacrifice. In 2011, a small group of dedicated individuals set out to change the way the Coast Guard community remembers the fallen, by proposing a 100 mile "Run to Remember."

The ssh issue isn't specific to git. You can set up an ssh-agent so you only have to enter an ssh key password once. It will be remembered, safely stored in memory, until you log out. Github has a tutorial about setting up an ssh-agent.

The game begins as Nilin (Kezia Burrows),[11] an Errorist imprisoned in the Bastille Fortress, is having almost all her memory wiped by Memorize. As she is taken to have the last of her memories wiped, a mysterious man called Edge, the leader of the Errorists and a man she only hears over her comm device, helps her escape. Edge tells her that she is an Errorist with the gift of both stealing and remixing memories. After escaping into the slums of Neo-Paris, Nilin encounters Tommy, a fellow Errorist. Nilin and Tommy are attacked by Olga Sedova, a bounty hunter chasing Nilin. Nilin dives into Olga's mind and remixes her memory to make Olga believe that her husband was killed by a Memorize doctor. She then becomes an Errorist ally, and transports Nilin to her first destination. Arriving in the Saint-Michel district, Nilin, who is aided by another Errorist codenamed Bad Request, is told by Edge to steal secret codes from Kaori Sheridan, Neo-Paris' top architect. After retrieving and uploading the codes to Edge, he uses them to open the Saint-Michel dam, flooding the district. Due to the flood draining out the slums, Nilin is able to infiltrate the Bastille and heads to the memory servers to free the stored memories of herself and the inmates while taking down Madame, the sadistic manager of the Bastille. With Madame defeated, Nilin releases the memories of the inmates and partially regains some of her own. She remembers the crime that landed her in the Bastille; on a mission, Nilin remixed the mind of a Memorize commander and made him believe he had killed his girlfriend. The altered memory pushed him to commit suicide.

With all of Memorize's secret operations taken down, Edge presses Nilin to find the Conception Cube, Memorize's central base, and destroy H3O, the Memorize Central Server. Once there, she encounters her father, Charles Cartier-Wells, the creator of the Sensens. Upon finding him, she sees that, fuelled by the car accident that injured his wife, he has become lost in a dream of an ideal world free from painful memories, all inspired by the desire to help Nilin forget about the accident. Nilin makes him see the harm his technology causes, and Scylla arrives to convince Charles to help Nilin enter the Central Server. Once in the presence of the Central Server, it is revealed to Nilin that Edge is a self-aware entity created by the amalgamation of unwanted memories within H3O. Nilin, who unwittingly started Edge with the memories of her unhappy childhood, enters the Server and, at H3O/Edge's will, she destroys him and releases the memories back into the general population. As the memories are released, Nilin remembers Edge's words about the mind being a fortress, and says that Edge died to remind people that memories should not become open to all, and that painful memories should be lived with rather than forcibly removed. She comes to the conclusion that outside her now-restored mind she has a family again and a damaged world to heal.

I am using devise authentication for rails.I added the remember me checkbox in my sign_in page by adding devise :rememberable in my User Model and configured my devise.rb to config.remember_for = 2.weeks,then added a form field for checkbox in my sign_in form like this

Rememberable manages generating and clearing token for remember the user from a saved cookie. Rememberable also has utility methods for dealing with serializing the user into the cookie and back from the cookie, trying to lookup the record based on the saved information. You probably wouldn't use rememberable methods directly, they are used mostly internally for handling the remember token.

Basically I have a login system with basic session functionality, and it times out on browser close. I've been getting complaints on that so I want to be able to have some click the remember tick and have their session last for say, 30 days.

As said this can be done with cookies. There are plenty of tutorials but a good approach is necessary for security. I still remember, in Orkut, the long dead social networking site, you could just ask the user to run some script steal his cookies and viola the account is yours even if the user had logged out.

If you don't remember your email or username, go to password reset and enter possible email addresses you own. When you enter an email that's registered with Spotify, you get the message that the password reset email was sent.

Anki is a program which makes remembering things easy. Because it's a lot more efficient than traditional study methods, you can either greatly decrease your time spent studying, or greatly increase the amount you learn.

Anyone who needs to remember things in their daily life can benefit from Anki. Since it is content-agnostic and supports images, audio, videos and scientific markup (via LaTeX), the possibilities are endless.

 For example:

"The single biggest change that Anki brings about is that it means memory is no longer a haphazard event, to be left to chance. Rather, it guarantees I will remember something, with minimal effort. That is, Anki makes memory a choice."

The desire to remember and to be remembered is a very old and human need. Since antiquity men has been making portraits, and the selfie is now an indispensable part of everyday life. Somewhere in between, around 1500, the first blossoming of portraiture in Europe began.

This is perceived as broken for a large number of our users that are being prompted more times than they expect in the 30 day window. Many of our users open tickets complaining that they remembered their device last week and they are being prompted for their MFA code again.

In September 2023, the display will include 143 flags to honor and remember the 143 Alabama veterans who died by suicide in 2021. In 2022, there were 152 flags for veterans lost their lives to suicide in 2020.

Over the years I have pondered his question. It has helped me to distinguish the important from the trivial, to remember the important things and to forget the things that have little consequence or that would, by forgetting them, bring a blessing.

Remembering the kindness of others while forgetting their offenses is spiritually much healthier than forgetting their kindness and remembering their offenses. We should keep in mind that even the Lord, who is capable of remembering everything, has promised that He will forget our sins if we repent.

The children of Israel had a hard time remembering these commandments and, because of their forgetfulness, suffered painful consequences. Are we under any less obligation to remember them? As the Lord extended His hand to rescue the children of Israel from Egyptian bondage, so also did He offer His life to rescue us from the bondage of sin and death. This we can never forget.

Third, we are to remember His commandments. In our world, too many look upon the commandments of God as restrictive or punitive. We do not share this opinion. Divine commandments are given to us by a loving Father who desires to bless His children. Obedience to His commandments brings safety and blessings. We often sing:

Now, remember who you are. You are a covenant child of God, who loves you and has prepared a way for you to return to Him. Remember that happiness and peace in this life and in the world to come depend upon remembering the principles I have discussed today. Remember to keep your covenants with the Lord in order to claim His promised blessings. Remember that you are precious and of great worth to Him.

I testify of the Lord Jesus Christ and of the saving power of His holy name. I am a witness of His word, His commandments, and His marvelous works. I testify of our need to care for the poor among us. May we so also remember, and do, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. 2351a5e196
