Umbral es una app para Android que bloquea apps, sitios web y contenido que la persona elige evitar. Funciona completa dentro de tu teléfono.
Ninguno. Umbral no tiene cuentas ni servidores propios. No nos envía información sobre ti ni sobre tu uso, ni a nosotros ni a terceros. No usamos publicidad, analítica ni herramientas de seguimiento.
Todo se guarda solo en tu dispositivo y se borra si desinstalas la app:
Las apps, sitios, palabras y secciones que decides bloquear, y el nivel del escudo visual.
Tu razón personal, el estilo de frases que elegiste, tu racha, tus rangos y logros, y los ajustes del modo estricto.
Un conteo diario de intentos bloqueados, sin detalle de qué fue.
Si usas Enfoque, los minutos por día en las apps que tú elijas.
Si configuras un aliado: su nombre, su número de WhatsApp si lo escribes, y la clave de sus códigos si los activas. La clave sirve para comprobar, en tu teléfono, el código de 6 dígitos que te dicta tu aliado.
La fecha de tu semana de prueba gratis y de los días de regalo.
Umbral nunca le escribe a tu aliado por su cuenta. Cuando tú tocas "Enviar por WhatsApp", Umbral abre WhatsApp con un resumen ya escrito, y eres tú quien lo envía. El resumen tiene solo números de tu semana: días seguidos, impulsos frenados, recaídas y si el modo estricto está activo. Nunca incluye qué apps, sitios o contenido viste. Una vez enviado, el mensaje queda sujeto a la política de privacidad de WhatsApp.
Servicio de accesibilidad:
Detecta qué app está en pantalla.
Si agregas palabras, lee lo que escribes en navegadores y buscadores para compararlo con ellas.
Con el escudo visual, analiza capturas de pantalla en redes y navegadores con un modelo que funciona dentro del teléfono. Si ve algo en un feed de videos, puede tapar la pantalla y deslizar al video siguiente.
Nada de esto se guarda ni sale del dispositivo.
VPN local (filtro web):
Umbral crea una VPN que existe solo dentro de tu teléfono, para revisar las consultas de nombres de sitios (DNS) y bloquear los sitios de tu lista.
Las consultas permitidas se envían al mismo servidor DNS que tu teléfono usaría sin Umbral, el de tu Wi-Fi o tu compañía.
Umbral no registra ni guarda los sitios que visitas, y tu tráfico no pasa por ningún servidor nuestro.
Mostrar sobre otras apps y cerrar apps en segundo plano: para mostrar la pantalla de pausa y cerrar la app bloqueada.
Notificaciones: para avisarte de un nuevo rango, del resumen semanal de Enfoque, del recordatorio para enviar tu semana a tu aliado y de que tu prueba gratis está por terminar. Las arma tu teléfono; no vienen de un servidor.
Compras: las suscripciones y compras de Umbral Pro se hacen con Google Play. Google procesa el pago según su propia política de privacidad; nosotros no recibimos tus datos de pago.
Reseñas: la ventana para calificar la app también es de Google Play. Umbral no ve tu calificación.
Umbral está dirigida a personas de 18 años o más.

Umbral is an Android app that blocks the apps, websites and content you choose to avoid. It works entirely on your phone.
None. Umbral has no accounts and no servers of its own. It sends no information about you or your usage to us or to any third party. We use no ads, analytics or tracking tools.
Everything is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app:
The apps, sites, words and sections you choose to block, and the visual shield level.
Your personal reason, the style of lines you chose, your streak, your ranks and achievements, and your strict mode settings.
A daily count of blocked attempts, with no detail about what they were.
If you use Focus, the minutes per day in the apps you choose.
If you set up an ally: their name, their WhatsApp number if you enter it, and the key for their codes if you turn codes on. The key is used to check, on your phone, the 6-digit code your ally reads to you.
The dates of your free trial week and of any bonus days.
Umbral never messages your ally on its own. When you tap "Send on WhatsApp", Umbral opens WhatsApp with a summary already written, and you are the one who sends it. The summary contains only numbers from your week: days in a row, urges stopped, relapses and whether strict mode is on. It never includes which apps, sites or content you saw. Once sent, the message is subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy.
Accessibility service:
Detects which app is on screen.
If you add words, reads what you type in browsers and search engines to compare it with them.
With the visual shield, analyzes screenshots in social apps and browsers using a model that runs on your phone. If it sees something in a video feed, it may cover the screen and swipe to the next video.
None of this is stored or leaves your device.
Local VPN (web filter):
Umbral creates a VPN that exists only on your phone, to check website name lookups (DNS) and block the sites on your list.
Allowed lookups go to the same DNS server your phone would use without Umbral: your Wi-Fi's or your carrier's.
Umbral does not log or store the sites you visit, and your traffic never goes through any server of ours.
Display over other apps and close background apps: to show the pause screen and close the blocked app.
Notifications: to let you know about a new rank, the weekly Focus summary, the reminder to send your week to your ally, and when your free trial is about to end. Your phone creates them; they don't come from a server.
Purchases: Umbral Pro subscriptions and purchases are handled by Google Play. Google processes payments under its own privacy policy; we never receive your payment details.
Reviews: the window for rating the app is also Google Play's. Umbral does not see your rating.
Umbral is intended for people aged 18 and over.
