Umaya Loving (she/her) is a New York City based stage manager originally from San José, CA. She loves all things people and performance art and is hungry to help create and support projects that foster diversity and innovative thinking. With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to collaboration, she is passionate about ensuring comfortable and successful execution from rehearsal to performance. She has calling, deck stage management, and operating experience in musical theatre, straight plays, film, and various live events and readings.
A senior at Pace University's Sands College of Performing Arts, Umaya is earning her Bachelor of Arts in Stage Management with a double minor in Theatre for Social Justice and Peace & Justice Studies. She also had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study theatre abroad in Zanzibar, Tanzania with Global Empowerment Theatre during the Summer of 2025.
When she isn't stage managing, you can find her at the pickleball courts or searching through the bins at record stores!
