Postdoctoral scholar at Caltech
I am Ulysse Chabaud, currently a postdoctoral scholar at California Institute of Technology. Before that, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique Fondamentale in Paris. I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from Sorbonne Université in 2020, my thesis is entitled: "Continuous-variable quantum advantages and applications in quantum optics".
My research interests cover various topics related to quantum information theory, such as quantum computing, quantum cryptography and quantum communication. I investigate the necessary ressources for quantum advantages and how they translates to foundational questions, in the context of continuous-variable quantum computational models in particular.
