Ulysse Chabaud

INRIA researcher

I am Ulysse Chabaud, INRIA permanent researcher at École Normale Supérieure de Paris in the team QAT. Before that, I was a postdoctoral scholar at the Institute for Quantum Information and Matter in Caltech, and an IQIM postdoctoral fellow at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique Fondamentale in Paris. I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from Sorbonne Université in 2020, my thesis is entitled: "Continuous-variable quantum advantages and applications in quantum optics".

My research interests cover various topics related to quantum information theory, such as quantum computing, quantum cryptography and quantum communication. I investigate the necessary resources for quantum advantages and how they translate to foundational questions, in the context of continuous-variable quantum computational models in particular.
