I'm a German 101 student and have been watching movies to improve my German/learn about their culture and my teacher recommended this one and I really recommend it! It's a really funny coming of age film, it's on YouTube with English subtitles. Check it out!
The Askwith Media Library in the UGLi has all of these movies available to check out, but their copy of Kebab Connection does not have English subtitles. Nach fnf im Urwald and Sonnenallee may only play on multistandard DVD players and may not have subtitles (please email Hartmut if you find out whether or not this is the case!). Note that there are only one or two copies of each DVD, and many German 221/231 students!
