This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Ule ATS MQTT Client for mobile devices and also website, with its services, that were created by ATS.

What information do we collect?

Information from website browsers

If you're just browsing the website, we collect the same basic information that most websites collect. We use common internet techonologies, such as cookies and web server logs. This is stuff we collect from everybody, whether they have an account or not.

The information we collect about all visitors to our website includes the visitor’s browser type, language preference and the date and time of each visitor request. We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.

We collect this information to monitor and protect the security of the website.

Information from users with accounts

If you create an account, we require some basic information at the time of account creation. You will create your own user name and password, and we will ask you for a valid email address.

Why do we collect this information?

  • We need them to create your account, and to provide services you request or to respond to support requests.

  • We use your user name to identify you on our site.

  • We will use your email address to communicate with you. That includes responding to support requests, email notifications if you choose to use them or informing you about important events - security issues or privacy policy changes. Information from mobile application

If you're using our mobile application, we collect the same information like in case of website, because it uses our website's services to provide you its content and functionality. In addition it also communicates with our server via MQTT, and this communication is subject to logging (do not include actual messages, but connection information and possible errors).

Apart from these information, application may store, on your device, data collected during its operation (like details of your devices assigned to your account).

Information from client devices

Client devices are all devices that you can configure for sending data to us via MQTT protocol. Apart from collecting sensors data, we also collect connection related information to find devices that may cause problems for other users or generally for security of service. You have full control over sensors data - you can export it, delete it partially or completly.

What information do we share?

We can share information collected from client devices, only if you ask us to do so.

We do not share, sell, rent or trade any of the information with third parties for their commercial purposes.

We may share aggregated, anonymized data with external services to help us improve the application and our service.

We may disclose information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;

  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

  • with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
