Our laboratory focuses mainly on the development of nanomaterials for energy production, conversion, and storage, as well as on renewable energy produced by (photo)electrochemical reactions to create a future sustainable energy system. In order to understand the exact underlying mechanisms of these reactions and to enhance conversion efficiency, we perform in-depth analyses at the surface of the electrode or catalyst and at the interface between electrode and electrolyte.
