Ujendra Kumar Komal is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Previously, he worked as an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and further sharpened his research and teaching skills as an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology Warangal.
He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and a Master's degree in Manufacturing Technology from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. His journey in the field began with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Government Engineering College Raipur.
His research interests are conceptualization, processing, characterization, recycling, and degradation of sustainable polymer composites and additive manufacturing of advanced polymer composites.
His works, including several peer-reviewed journal articles, conference presentations, and contributions to esteemed books, are greatly regarded and often cited.
