Law Club Interest Meeting Recap
On January 14th, 2025, the inaugural Law Club hosted its first interest meeting, led by president Alan Mowle, vice-president Apryl Ramos, along with the guidance of our own principal, Mrs.Bossard. The meeting had our lecture hall filled, and ended in a roar of applause.

This past Tuesday marked the inaugural meeting of the first Law Club for Union High School. The meeting was led by Alan Mowle (UHS Senior / Club President), Apryl Ramos (UHS Senior / Club Vice-President) . The large room was filled with interested students. “It's sad that we don't have many niche clubs such as this here at UHS, but I'm glad to be able to start this class after much adversity,” said Mowle.
The Club itself has many plans for the future. To name a few, Various debates in different fun yet professional formats, mock trials, moot court, teaching students the roles of an attorney, and more.

A poll was released to the club after, asking a few questions regarding the interest meeting itself, as well as how they are feeling about the future of the club. UHS Student Mikayla Astudillo instantly replied, "The energy and formality of this club is incredible!" She also added how, as she was walking out of the room, she felt excited for what was next. Another student, Laura Sofia Chaves Lopez, feels that this club will have "an extremely successful future." She noted how this club is perfect for her, someone who is passionate about Criminal Justice. Lastly, student Ava Handel who also found interest in Criminal Justice said how not only the club, but also those running it are "very welcoming, professional, and dedicated to the teaching and learning for the students at UHS."
