Where can I eat or take a break on shift? When going for breaks, please ensure that the MD lounge is not crowded. If the MD lounge is full, check the ED conference rooms (at TG, it's the room next to the staff washroom. At TW, it's right next to the TW MD lounge). The food courts, TGH 4th floor conservatory, and TGH wellness area (behind the Tim Horton's) are also available to you. Finally, there are hospital resident lounges that you can use:
TGH - GNU 122 - Ground Floor Norman Urquhart Wing, Room G-122 (badge access)
TWH - 8MCL 419 – 8th floor McLaughlin Pavilion, Room 8-419
Please contact UHN Medical Education if you have questions about the resident lounge spaces.
