Organization Description: 

The mission of Bridgehaven Children's Advocacy Center is to give hope and care to the children of Liberty and Chambers counties who are victims of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse and foster a working relationship with the government agencies of the two counties assigned to protect and defend victims. 

Primary Function: 

Bridgehaven Children's Advocacy Center is seeking a motivated Grants Specialist Intern to assist in our fundraising efforts. This internship provides hands-on experience in grant research, proposal writing, and grant management. This position offers valuable insights into the non-profit sector and an opportunity to contribute to our mission of making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

The intern will collaborate with the development team to identify grant opportunities, write compelling proposals, and ensure timely submissions. 

Preferred qualifications: 

The intern must possess knowledge in the following areas: research, communication skills, attention to detail, project management, and writing.
