Craft and implement a targeted social media strategy to bolster our online presence and support marketing initiatives.
Generate, edit, and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
Monitor and respond to community interactions on social media platforms in a manner that promotes audience engagement.
Coordinate with the programming and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency.
Analyze social media metrics to gauge success and adjust strategies as needed.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
Facilitate online conversations with our audience and respond to queries.
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Familiarity with web design, publishing, and social media analytics tools.
An ability to be creative and engaging, even with limited resources.
Strong multitasking and analytical skills.
Knowledge of the local Houston community and its diverse cultural landscape is a plus.
Pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications) or equivalent professional experience.
