Primary Function:

The intern will tutor and mentor youth under the parameters of the organization's core values, prepare and facilitate activities for club kids, and assist with administrative tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and assistance with youth's homework

  • Tutor in core subjects, such as Math, Science, and English

  • Assist in the preparation and facilitation of program activities

  • Assist in maintaining facility and equipment in good working order

  • Perform administrative responsibilities, such as filing paperwork, answering phone calls, and tracking kid's attendance

  • Participate in the development and safety training

  • Perform all other duties assigned

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous work in related field with children and youth preferred

  • Following a career path evolving youth

  • Proficient in the core subjects of Math, English, and Science.

  • Be able to engage in physical activities.
