Organization Description:

Project C.U.R.E. collects donated medical equipment and supplies from local hospitals and manufactures and distributes them to hospitals and clinics in the developing world.

Primary Function:

The intern will report directly to the director of operations and support this non-profit in day-to-day activities required to prepare cargo shipments of donated medical supplies. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Schedule interns and volunteer crews

  • Update and work with inventory data

  • Participate in warehouse activity

  • Supervise volunteer teams

  • Assist and facilitate cargo loads

  • Note that Saturday hours are likely to be required, 9am-3pm

  • Interface with local donors of gift-in-kind product

  • Take part in training for the use of our Flowtrac inventory system and learn about medical equipment and the logistics of international cargo shipment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Majors: Supply Chain, Management, Human Resources

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
