Organization Description:

The Kailee Mills Foundation is a Seat Belt Safety Non-Profit organization with a mission to reduce injury and fatality through awareness, education, and community involvement. Our four main programs are Community Awareness, Family Assistance, Scholarships, and First Responder Support.

Primary Function:

The Donation Intern will assist the Program Manager with tasks including but not limited to community engagement, events, organization, research, and data entry. This includes and is not limited to managing donation and in-kind giving requests and partnerships for our two major events.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Crafting and assisting with the management of partnerships with companies and corporations (sponsorships and in-kind donations)

  • Employer matching and workplace-giving program research

  • The collection and organization of event donations

  • Study and report on charity validators and reviewers

  • Administrative duties include creating documents, organizing, and making calls, keeping up with donor contact records

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrates excellence in organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Eagerness to learn, be proactive, adapt to change, wear many hats, and be able to work with minimal supervision

  • Able to drive, stand, bend, squat, walk, and lift up to 15 pounds.

  • Basic knowledge of Google Docs, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Team player and motivated to make a difference
