Organization Description:

The Kailee Mills Foundation is a Seat Belt Safety Non-Profit organization with a mission to reduce injury and fatality through awareness, education, and community involvement. Our four main programs are Community Awareness, Family Assistance, Scholarships, and First Responder Support.

Primary Function:

The Communications Intern will assist the Program Manager with tasks including but not limited to community engagement, data entry, research, reporting, merchandise management and social media.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan and coordinate content for social media campaigns

  • Monitor and research influencers with trending topics

  • Administrative duties includes creating documents, organizing, and making calls

  • Compile and update media contacts, reports, and assigned subjects

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrates excellence in organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Eagerness to learn, be proactive, adapt to change, wear many hats, and be able to work with minimal supervision

  • Able to drive, stand, bend, squat, walk, and lift up to 15 pounds

  • Basic knowledge of Google Docs, Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Team player and motivated to make a difference
