Primary Function:

The Intern will represent The Alliance Asset Building Program as the front desk receptionist and the Client Navigator to access departmental services that include occupational training, career coaching, financial coaching, and community resources.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with clerical duties including, but not limited to light filing, answering calls, taking/delivering messages, and printing copies of marketing materials

  • First point of contact for office

  • Navigate clients to connect with coaches/case managers and maintain in-person attendance log

  • Assist with classes/workshops, by making follow-up phone calls to training clients/workshop attendees, send out follow-up emails to training clients/workshop attendees, Help set up/shut down the Digital Literacy Computer Lab, record client responses and communicate them to the appropriate team member

  • Data collection and data entry

  • Attend Asset Building team meetings/gatherings/professional development opportunities

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to learn new computer programs like Sales Force

  • Customer Service oriented person

  • Bilingual a plus
