An international referee since 2013, the 44-year-old English referee has taken charge of six UEFA Champions League matches and one UEFA Europa League match this season, including the quarter-final second leg between AS Roma and Feyenoord. Taylor refereed the 2020 UEFA Super Cup which took place in the same stadium in Budapest between FC Bayern Mnchen and Sevilla FC, as well as the 2021 UEFA Nations League final between Spain and France.

Taylor will be assisted by compatriots Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn. The fourth official, Michael Oliver, and the reserve assistant referee Stuart Burt are also from England. The VAR role has been assigned to Stuart Attwell (England), and he will be aided by Christopher Kavanagh from England and Bastian Dankert from Germany.

The UEFA Referees Committee has revealed that Spaniard Carlos del Cerro Grande will referee the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League final between ACF Fiorentina and West Ham United FC, to be played at Eden Arena in Prague, Czechia, on Wednesday 7 June at 21:00 CET.

Del Cerro Grande has been an international referee since 2013, and will be taking charge of his first UEFA club competition final. This season, the 47-year-old has officiated five UEFA Champions League matches and one UEFA Europa Conference League match, including the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg between FC Internazionale Milano and SL Benfica.

Del Cerro will be assisted by compatriots Pau Cebrian Debis and Guadalupe Porras Ayuso, with Diego Barbero Sevilla acting as reserve assistant referee. The fourth official, Jess Gil Manzano, is also from Spain. The VAR role has been assigned to Juan Martnez Munuera (Spain), and he will be aided by Alejandro Jos Hernndez Hernndez (Spain) and Tiago Bruno Lopes Martins (Portugal).

The UEFA Referees Committee has appointed Szymon Marciniak to referee the 2023 UEFA Champions League final between Manchester City FC and FC Internazionale Milano, which takes place at Atatrk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Trkiye, on Saturday 10 June at 21:00 CET.

The 42-year-old Polish national, an international referee since 2011, will be officiating his first UEFA Champions League final, after serving as fourth official in the 2018 final. He has refereed eight UEFA Champions League matches this season as of the play-off round, including the semi-final second leg between Manchester City FC and Real Madrid CF. Last December, he refereed the 2022 FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and France in Qatar.

Marciniak will be assisted by his compatriots Pawe Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz, with Vasile Florin Marinescu from Romania acting as reserve assistant referee. Istvan Kovacs (Romania) will be fourth official. The VAR role has been assigned to Tomasz Kwiatkowski (Poland), and he will be assisted by compatriot Bartosz Frankowski and Marco Fritz from Germany.

UEFA have announced the refereeing appointments, with Englishman Anthony Taylor to take charge of Atleti's game and Portuguese Artur Dias to whistle the match at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Dias, meanwhile, has been the referee for two Real Madrid games, a 6-0 win at APOEL in 2017/18 and their 3-0 defeat at home to CSKA Moscow last year.

38 year old FIFA referee since 2016, this is his 4th UECL qualifying match, he also took charge of 1 UECL group stage match last season between Anorthosis v Partizan. He has not been involved with any matches with Hungarian teams previously. His only involvement with teams from Kazakhstan is Shakhter Karaganda in the UECL qualifying 3rd round 1st leg match last season.

35 year old Kaspar Sjberg has been a professional referee, since 2008 and has been refereeing in the Allsvenskan league in Sweden since 2015. He joined the FIFA list of referees in 2019. Last season he refereed 1 UECL qualifier and 1 group stage game. This is his first game involving a team from Hungary. In 19/20 he refereed the Azerbaijan U21 team in the UEFA Euro U21 qualifying group stage match v Switzerland U21.

The 26 year old Armenian referee is in his 2nd year on the FIFA list. During his 1st season he was involved in the 2022 UEFA U17 Euros where he refereed 3 group stage matches and a semi final. He also took charge of the UECL 1st round qualifying match between RFCU Luxembourg v Breidablik. Whilst inexperienced in adult International games, judging by the observer appointed he is considered to be a hot young prospect.

The Europa League final between Roma and Sevilla will be overseen by an English officiating team. Anthony Taylor has been appointed as referee and he will be assisted by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn. Michael Oliver will be fourth official while Stuart Attwell is on VAR.

As European football continues to hurtle toward the knockout stages, UEFA has released the latest referee and VAR appointments for the upcoming fixtures in the Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League.

Taking care of proceedings is Spanish referee Alejandro Hernndez Hernndez. He is joined by compatriots Jose Naranjo Perez and Diego Sanchez Rojo as assistant referees, with Cesar Soto Grado as fourth official and Carlos Del Cerro Grande in the VAR cockpit.

Taking care of refereeing duties for this one is Slovakian whistle-carrier Ivan Kruliak. So far, in three UEFA fixtures, he has brandished 15 yellow cards, with a second yellow card and penalty awarded in Galatasaray's shock 3-2 victory at Old Trafford last month being the Slovak's most significant action yet.

But if the Bernese domestic table-toppers are to snatch an unlikely point or three, their safest bet may be to look toward Belgian referee Erik Lambrechts for help. In just five Jupiler Pro League games this season, he has already pointed to the penalty spot four times, while the step up from his nondescript settings to the home of the European champions could lead to more big decisions in key moments.

Assisting Lambrechts, whose last UEFA gig came in the Europa League qualifier between Aris Limassol and Slovan Bratislava, are assistant referees Jo De Weirdt and Kevin Monteny, while Nathan Verboomen takes the position as fourth official. Behind the VAR screens will be Frenchman Willy Delajod.

As things stand, the Red Devils look set to drop into the Europa League. And while the club's disciplinary record continues to be poor, the prolific officiating of Lithuanian referee Donatas Rumas might signal further trouble for the three-time winners of this competition.

However, it doesn't look like the fixture will be short of chaos, judging by their referees' emotion in the above image. Romanian official Istvan Kovacs tends to brandish a surfeit of yellow cards to support such a notion, with 69 bookings in 12 matches - an average of just under six per game.

Officiating this one is Nikola Dabanovi, an experienced referee hailing from Montenegro who has awarded two penalties and held a sizeable tally of 70 yellow cards aloft across 15 games this term. Yet, red cards have remained in his pocket so far.

Tasked with handling a fixture that ensues a hostile atmosphere between two renowned fanbases, Slovenian referee Matej Jug is lenient in his officiating, which should complement the occasion at the London Stadium between West Ham United and Olympiacos.

But this one could get fiery. Handling things as referee is Juxhin Xhaja, who, in just nine fixtures, has raised 54 yellow cards, three second-yellows, three red cards, while he has also pointed to the penalty spot eight times.

He will, of course, be helped by a team of assistant referees in Dojando Myftari and Rejdi Avdo. The fourth official is Olsion Yzeiraj, while those instated for VAR will be Italian duo Daniele Chiffi and Marco Serra.

In charge of handling key decisions will be Luis Miguel Branco Godinho, who also boasts a prolific record with a whistle in hand, and will be accompanied by assistant referees Rui Miguel Martins Teixeira and Pedro Miguel Almeida Mota. Hlder Filipe Cludio Carvalho is the fourth official.

The UEFA Champions League match on Tuesday 3 July between F91 Dudelange (Luxembourg) and SP Tre Penne (San Marino) at Jos Nosbaum Stadium, Dudelange, Luxembourg, will be cotrolled by Alan Mario Sant. His assistent referees will be Edward Spiteri and Chris Francalanza, with Malcolm Spiteri as 4th official.

UEFA President Michel Platini had called on referees to punish all shirt-pulling and jostling ahead of the tournament - especially in the penalty area - but all officials has been turning a blind eye until Webb took his tough action.

Beenhakker accused Webb of trying to prove he was a "big boy" following the 1-1 draw in Vienna, although Austria also had reason to be unhappy with the English officials as Poland's goal appeared to be offside.

UEFA's disciplinary body will judge whether Beenhakker faces action for his comments, while the referees' committee will decide if Webb and assistants

Darren Cann and Michael Mullarkey will take charge of another game at the

tournament.

Given that England are not at the tournament, it was seen as an opportunity for

Webb's team to stay at the tournament until the latter stages.

Gaillard added: "The referees' committee analyses all the games and makes the

appointments according to its own analyses and we don't interfere with the way

they are managing officials in this tournament.

"For sure there is a better chance to referee the final matches as his national team is not there but that is a statistical chance.
