This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application “Udha e Besimit” (Android package name: com.udhaebesimit.app). The app is developed and published on Google Play by Gëzim Demiri (“we,” “us,” or “the developer”).

Overview
Udha e Besimit is an offline educational app in the Albanian language. It does not require an account. We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. The app does not use advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud synchronization, or remote content services.
Data the app accesses and how it is used
Location for the Qibla feature
When you open the Qibla feature and grant permission, the app accesses your device’s approximate or precise location to calculate the direction of the Qibla from your current position. Location access occurs only while you use this feature.
Your location is processed temporarily on your device. It is not stored in the app’s database, transmitted to the developer or any server, used for advertising or analytics, or shared with third parties. You may deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. The rest of the app remains available without location permission, although the Qibla direction cannot be calculated from your current position.
Compass and device sensors
The Qibla feature may access compass or orientation sensor readings to display the direction on your device. These readings are processed on the device and are not stored, transmitted, or shared.
Data stored locally on your device
Depending on how you use the app, Udha e Besimit may store the following information locally:
• reading progress and learning status;
• favorites;
• personal notes;
• recent search terms;
• review sessions, quiz attempts, answers, and results;
• reading and app preferences; and
• onboarding status.
This information is used only to provide the app’s learning, reading, personalization, review, and quiz functions. It stays on your device and is not sent to us or shared with third parties.
Accounts, advertising, analytics, and tracking
The app does not provide or require user accounts. It does not contain advertisements, analytics tools, crash-reporting services, tracking technologies, or social sign-in. We do not collect advertising identifiers or create user profiles.
Third-party services and sharing
The production app does not send user data to third-party services. It uses software libraries for local app functions such as database storage, location permission and positioning, compass access, and device file paths. These functions operate on the device for the purposes described in this policy.
We do not sell or share personal data.
Data retention and deletion
Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. You can delete personal app data using the reset/delete option in the app’s Settings screen.
Operating-system backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for the app’s local data. Therefore, uninstalling the app, clearing its storage, losing the device, or moving to another device may permanently remove your locally stored information.
Because the developer does not receive or store this information on a server, we cannot recover it or delete it remotely.
Security
We minimize data handling by keeping app data on the device and by disabling release network access and operating-system backup for local app data. Access to data on your device is also subject to the security of your device and operating system. The app does not claim that its local database is separately encrypted.
Children’s privacy
Udha e Besimit does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users. The app does not require a name, email address, age, or account. Location used for the Qibla feature is processed only on the device as described above.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy if the app’s features or data practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will also be reflected in the app and in the Google Play Data safety disclosures where required.
