The aim of this course is to teach students how to identify, design, and defend a good scientific project in the realm of the central dogma: replication, transcription and RNA processing, and translation. This course will consist of lectures, discussion sections on classic and modern papers, and a research proposal, which students will defend at the end of the quarter.
