Fragment screening workflow

Checklist before proceeding with the fragment screening:

1. Well-diffracting crystals (resolution better than 2.5A)

2. Large number of reproducible crystals (ideally at 20C)

3. Sitting-drop format (ideally in a Swiss-Ci 3-well plate)

4. Low-salt in buffer and crystallization conditions

5. Protein crystal is tolerant to DMSO (Fragment libraries are used as DMSO stock solutions)

6. Find the best cryo conditions, the echo survival and solvent tolerance
