A single book can open a world of possibilities, and when a community unites to share knowledge, that impact multiplies. Upholding its commitment to service, the UB College of Education conducted its flagship annual outreach program, aimed at expanding access to reading materials for young learners. This initiative reflects the College’s unwavering pursuit of excellence in education.
Through the collaborative efforts of the Dean of the College of Education, Program Heads, and Faculty Members of the College of Education, in coordination with the UB Community Extension Services Office, donated books were formally turned over to Malitam Elementary School, led by its Principal, Dr. Marife D. Frane.
The books distributed during the activity were made possible through generous donations, reflecting a collective belief that access to learning resources should be shared with every child.
This initiative reflects the College’s continuing dedication to advancing literacy, strengthening partnerships with local schools, and empowering future generations through meaningful educational engagement.
Share a Book, Wake a Thought
Today, March 21, 2025, the College of Education gifted books to inspire the young minds of Batangas City Integrated High School, fostering a love for reading and learning. The warm smiles and welcoming spirit of the students and faculty made this initiative even more meaningful!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this possible—the organizers, the dedicated faculty, and the generous students who contributed to this cause. Together, we continue to ignite minds and inspire future generations through the power of books.
