CPSC 515: Computational Robotics

New and Online for 2020!

  • The focus of the content and homework components of this year's edition of the course will be to give students hands-on experience with a full autonomous robot navigation stack.

    • The videos on this page give some examples of the systems we may study.

  • The course will be entirely online. See Online Adaptation for more details.

    • 2020-09-08: Links to the lectures, discussion forum, homeworks, etc. are now posted to the beginning of Online Adaptation.

  • This is the course web page for CPSC 515: Computational Robotics in winter term 1 (September to December) of 2020.

  • This course has not been taught for a few years, but the course web pages for 2015-2016, 2012-2013 and 2011-2012 are still available.

    • Note that this year the lecture material will focus more heavily on recent advances in autonomous ground robots.

  • This course is offered by the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia.
