Our lab examines how experiences within the family and close relationships shape individuals’ emotional, behavioral, interpersonal, and physiological functioning across development. We are particularly interested in understanding how childhood and adolescent experiences, especially in the context of family and community violence, threat, and deprivation, are associated with long term adjustment and well-being.
Our research integrates developmental, interpersonal, observational, and psychophysiological approaches through both quantitative and qualitative methods.
