Immigration Law students association

James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona

Who we are

We are a student-led project that strives to further migrant rights and the study of immigration law at the University of Arizona by building a network of passionate students and community members. Our initiatives focus on serving migrants in our community, advocating for local and national immigration policy change, and supporting the educational and professional development of our members.

What we do

The Immigration Law Students Association is committed to the principle that migrant rights are human rights. Our mission is to promote justice and awareness through service, advocacy, and professional development.

Throughout the academic year, ILSA collaborates with the Bacon Immigration Law and Policy Program, local organizations, and other student groups at the College of Law to host and participate in a variety of programs. Our members have the opportunity to volunteer in community immigration clinics, participate in direct service initiatives, and engage in migrant rights advocacy. They also benefit from interdisciplinary speakers, networking functions, and other professional development activities.
