Welcome

Launched in September 2020, the initial aim of this project was to record the types of local shops that our members encounter around the country, to get an idea of how the economic climate is affecting them. We started surveying in September 2020. It will be interesting to see how our local survey areas may change in coming months and years.

We will are also supporting our participants in creating their own local learning projects based on the findings that have emerged, plus YOUR local skills and knowledge!

This project was originated by North London U3A member Peter Cox, and the initial survey data that you collect will form part of a national U3A research project.
