Privacy Policy — U Browser
This Privacy Policy explains how U Browser handles information in the U Browser iOS app (Bundle ID com.mushdat.ubrowser).

2. Summary
• U Browser provides web browsing, supported-file downloads, and local file management.
• No U Browser account is required.
• The free experience uses advertising and mediation SDKs; Pro removes ads.
• Purchases are processed through Apple StoreKit.
• U Browser does not operate an app-owned backend for browsing or managed files.
• U Browser does not support downloading audio or video files.
3. Information Collected by the Developer
The developer does not receive your browsing history or managed files through an app-owned server. Advertising providers may process device identifiers, IP-derived coarse location, ad interactions, advertising data, and diagnostics as described below and in their privacy policies.
4. Web Browsing
Websites selected by the user receive normal web requests and may collect or process data under their own privacy policies. Searches entered in the address bar are sent directly to the configured search provider. WebKit may store cookies, caches, and related website data locally. Users can remove this data with Clear Website Data in Settings.
5. Files and Downloads
Files selected through Apple’s system pickers are copied into the app container. User-imported files are stored in Documents. Completed downloads are stored in Caches and may be removed by iOS when storage is needed. U Browser does not upload these files to an app-owned server.
6. Photos and Files Access
U Browser uses UIDocumentPicker and PHPicker. The app receives only files or images the user explicitly selects. The current app does not request broad photo-library access.
7. On-Device Preferences and Metadata
Appearance, homepage, onboarding status, file sorting, download metadata, and cached Pro entitlement state are stored locally to provide app functionality. Users can delete managed files in the Files tab. Removing the app deletes its sandbox data according to iOS behavior.
8. Tracking, Analytics, Advertising, and Purchases
The free experience uses Google Mobile Ads and participating mediation partners. Depending on consent, region, device settings, and ATT authorization, these providers may process data for advertising, analytics, measurement, and fraud prevention. UMP is used for consent where required. Pro users are not shown ads.
Weekly, monthly, and yearly U Browser Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles payment information. U Browser processes verified product, transaction, and entitlement status to purchase, restore, and unlock Pro.
9. Children
U Browser is a general-purpose browser and is not directed to children. The App Store age-rating questionnaire must declare unrestricted web access accurately.
10. Security
U Browser uses Apple platform networking and WebKit. The app does not disable App Transport Security globally and does not bypass TLS certificate validation.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated when app features or data practices change. Material changes will be reflected in the last-updated date.
