My PC is located in a secure locked room. In Settings ==> Security I have chosen the following options:
(unchecked) Lock 1Password when computer locks
Lock after the system is idle for never
I use several browsers and I am constantly being asked to unlock 1P with my master password. This is a new behavior, I did not have to unlock 1P like this before. Has something changed?
This is !p for windows. I have re-booted my PC. I am thinking that would count as fully quitting 1P and the browsers. After the re-boot, I opened the 1P app and entered my master password. After opening the browsers, each browser is asking for the master password. I will check after several hours if I am still required to enter the master password in the browsers.

I have a little bit different question related to the master password. I have three different accounts connected to my 1Password (two personal accounts and one account for teams). In 4 from 5 attempts when I enter the master password, the two personal accounts unlock automatically, but the account for teams keeps locked. Then I have to enter the password of the locked account to reach the stored items. This behaviour is new for 1Password 8 for Windows, the previous version and iOS mobile version works as expected, all connected accounts are unlocked by the master password automatically.
1. Keyboard and mouse placement: The keyboard and mouse should be positioned at a comfortable height and distance from your body, so you don't have to reach or stretch to use them.
2. Wrist posture: Keep your wrists straight and in line with your forearms while typing to reduce the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome and other wrist injuries.
3. Keyboard angle: The keyboard should be angled slightly downward, with the keys facing you. This can help reduce strain on your hands.
4. Keyboard tilt: The keyboard should be tilted slightly away from you, so your wrists aren't bent upward while typing.
5. Chair height: Adjust your chair so your feet are flat on the floor and your thighs are parallel to the ground. This can help prevent back strain and promote good posture.
6. Monitor placement: The top of your computer monitor should be at or slightly below eye level, so you don't have to strain your neck to see it.
Check the settings. If they are as mentioned above and the PIN has been set with Lock with master password on browser restart being deactivated it should work for you and it does so for me.
If you still experience issues uninstall the extension, close all windows of your browser, start the browser, re-install the extension and again adjust the settings.
Unlock with PIN: On mobile apps, the PIN is a string of numerical digits (of any length), but in all the other client apps (vault, desktop, browser extension), the PIN can contain any combination of upper/lower-case letters, numbers, and special characters. Thus, you can in effect set an alternate password that is easier to type than your master password.
I know I can do a passwordless login on the web vault (Log in with device) where a prompt comes up on my iPhone to allow the login instead of using the master password. That may work for you? I enabled it on my iPhone and iPad.
I think passwordless login is the future.
I think what most people do is lock their vault and leave their browser running in the background, since typing in a PIN to unlock is much more convenient that typing in your master password each time. Or, if you have biometrics enabled on your device, you can use that instead.
