Tyler Siegford

Major: Biochemistry

Hometown: Rathdrum, Idaho

My name is Tyler Siegford and I am an undergraduate biochemistry student graduating in the spring of 2020. I love learning about the biochemical basis of life and hope to apply this passion in a way that will make a difference. Being a Grand Challenge Scholar has been a great experience. I have learned important technical and problem solving skills as well as gained interdisciplinary and cross cultural experience that will help me tackle the challenge of improving health. So far as a Grand Challenge Scholar I have completed multiple research projects, helped to found and lead two technical clubs, and have given my time to the College of Science as a College of Science ambassador.
