If you want a durable, sweat-resistant upgrade that protects your headphones from scratches while maintaining a sleek, modern look, choose TXEsign QC35; if you need maximum cushioning warmth and a softer, wool-based texture with the value of getting two covers in one package, choose CCeCCe 2. This decision is especially critical for earbuds for glasses wearers, where the headband's material against your temples can make or break the comfort of long listening sessions. The right accessory doesn't just change how your headphones feel; it changes whether you reach for them again after an hour of use.
• TXEsign QC35: Built from a neoprene, lycra, and microfiber blend with a protective zipper system, offering superior durability and scratch resistance, though it comes as a single unit rather than a pair.
• CCeCCe 2: Constructed entirely from soft wool yarn, providing a warmer, plush feel that increases buffer and comfort, delivered as a convenient 2-pack with both black and gray options.
• Best For: Choose TXEsign QC35 if you prioritize a rugged, water-resistant shell that shields your gear from daily wear and tear. Choose CCeCCe 2 if you are looking for a cozy, textile-heavy upgrade that feels like a fresh layer of warmth against your hair and glasses frames.
The TXEsign QC35 is engineered for the user who treats their audio gear with a mix of affection and practicality. At its core, this headband cover is a shield. The manufacturer specifies a robust material composition: 70% neoprene, 15% lycra, and 15% microfiber. This isn't just a fabric sleeve; it is a composite designed to handle the rigors of daily commuting, gym sessions, or intense gaming marathons. Neoprene is famously breathable yet resistant to moisture, which means if you tend to sweat during workouts or live in a humid climate, this cover will manage that humidity better than a simple cotton or wool wrap would.
For those who wear glasses, the design philosophy here leans heavily on protection and stability. The cover features a tunnel made of stretchable lycra fabric, which ensures a snug fit that follows the headphone shape perfectly without slipping. Crucially, the zipper mechanism is not left exposed. It is sandwiched between layers of fabric, including a dedicated microfiber layer underneath the zipper track. This specific construction detail addresses a common annoyance: metal teeth digging into the plastic or leather of the original headband, or worse, scratching the delicate finish of your earcups when sliding them off. The TXEsign version explicitly prevents the zipper from touching the earphone, ensuring that the closure mechanism remains invisible and harmless.
Who should buy this? If you own a pair of Audio-technica ATH-M50x, Bose QuietComfort 35, or SteelSeries Arctis 7 and find that your current headband is showing signs of peeling, cracking, or collecting dirt, this is your solution. It provides a "cozy" wearing experience but prioritizes the longevity of the device itself. It is ideal for the minimalist who wants a clean, black aesthetic that blends seamlessly with most high-end headphones without adding bulk. The dimensions listed suggest a width capable of accommodating cushion pads up to 1-8/9 inches wide, making it a versatile choice for various mid-sized models. However, be aware that because it is a single unit, if you lose it, you are out of luck until you order another. It is also a more technical, synthetic-feeling product compared to natural fibers, which might not appeal to everyone.

In stark contrast to the technical, layered approach of the competitor, the CCeCCe 2 embraces a traditional, tactile approach to comfort. This product is defined by its material: high-quality wool yarn. Wool has a natural reputation for temperature regulation and softness, and this cover delivers exactly that. When you slide these over your headphones, you aren't putting on a synthetic shell; you are wrapping your ears in a knitted fabric that feels gentle against the skin. The wool construction adds a layer of thickness that acts as a shock absorber between the hard metal band and your head.
The standout feature of the CCeCCe 2 is the packaging logic. You receive two distinct headbands in the box—one black and one gray. This 2-pack format offers immediate versatility. You can swap colors based on your outfit, your mood, or simply to keep one as a backup if the other gets damaged or dirty. The knitting pattern suggests a flexible fit that accommodates most mid-sized headphones, including popular models from Audio-technica (like the MSR7 series), Beats Pro, and Sennheiser. For rechargeable in ear earbuds for glasses wearers who actually use over-ear headphones for noise cancellation, the wool texture might be preferable because it creates less friction against temple arms than a smooth, tight synthetic weave.
This pick is perfect for the user who values aesthetics and raw comfort over industrial durability. If you work in a cooler environment or prefer a softer, more organic feel against your hairline, the wool option wins hands down. The installation is described as easy DIY, implying no tools or complex mechanisms are required, just a stretch-and-fit process. However, wool is inherently different from neoprene. While it feels luxurious, it may not offer the same level of sweat resistance or scratch-proofing as the TXEsign alternative. It is best suited for indoor use, office environments, or casual listening where the primary goal is to soften the clamping force and add a touch of style rather than to armor the device against the elements.
• Best for Scratch Protection → TXEsign QC35: The double-layer fabric around the zipper and the neoprene base actively prevent internal abrasion that often ruins headphone bands over time.
• Best for Softness and Warmth → CCeCCe 2: The pure wool yarn construction provides a significantly softer, fluffier feel that reduces pressure points on the top of the head.
• Best Value for Money → CCeCCe 2: Getting two distinct colors (black and gray) in a single purchase gives you double the utility and variety for the price of one unit.
• Best for Sweat Resistance → TXEsign QC35: The 70% neoprene content makes this cover far more suitable for active users or hot climates where moisture management is key.
• Best for Glasses Wearers Seeking Comfort → CCeCCe 2: The knit structure of the wool allows for a slightly more forgiving, textured surface that interacts gently with plastic glasses arms, reducing the risk of slipping or pinching.
• Best for Sleek, Invisible Fit → TXEsign QC35: The lycra tunnel and flat profile ensure the cover looks like an integral part of the headphone, hiding the replacement nature completely.
• Best for Color Variety → CCeCCe 2: The inclusion of a gray option alongside black allows for customization that a single black unit cannot match.
• Best for Durability Against Wear → TXEsign QC35: The combination of Lycra, Microfiber, and Neoprene creates a composite that resists stretching out and tearing better than a standard knit wool band.
If I were standing in my own living room deciding which accessory to buy for my daily drivers, I would lean toward the TXEsign QC35 for its engineering. The attention to detail regarding the zipper protection and the use of neoprene suggests a product built to last through years of abuse. It solves the specific problem of headbands degrading from sweat and friction in a way that a simple wool cover cannot. However, if I were looking for a gift for someone who prioritizes coziness above all else, or if I wanted to have a spare set ready for travel, the CCeCCe 2 would be my choice. Its wool texture is undeniably inviting, and the 2-pack format is just smart consumer logic. Ultimately, for earbuds for glasses wearers who need a reliable, long-term solution that doesn't compromise their equipment, the TXEsign QC35 stands out as the more robust, thoughtful investment.
Yes, both products explicitly list compatibility with the Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones, as well as the older QC25 and QC15 models, ensuring a universal fit for these popular devices.
No, the design specifically protects against this. The zipper is enclosed by a layer of fabric and sits under a microfiber lining, ensuring the metal teeth never touch the headphone casing or the ear cup.
While wool is naturally breathable, the TXEsign QC35 uses neoprene, which is specifically noted for breathability and moisture-wicking properties, making it generally better suited for warmer conditions than a dense wool knit.
You receive a 2-pack in the box, featuring one black headband and one gray headband, allowing you to switch styles or keep a spare without needing to place another order.
