Wild Side

Right over the border into Canada is Wild Side from Niagra Falls, Ontario. Wild Side delivers a bouncy and groovy sound to their old-school sounding style bringing forth plenty of energetic riffs and divebombs for your ears to enjoy. The lyrics push forward themes of being true to yourself as well as putting up a fight and not giving in to the pressures of others. The band has released three singles and one studio album titled Who The Hell Is Wild Side? which was produced by Triple B Records, which is based in Boston, Massachusetts. Wild Side's self-titled EP features five heavy tracks that really help drive their message, it was released in March of 2014 and was followed by two two-song promos which featured early demos of songs that would be listed on the band's studio album once it was released. The band is actually straight-edge which I was initially unaware of when I first discovered them. The second half of the second song 'All Bark, No Bite/The Strength' featured in their Promo mentions the band's straight-edge beliefs very directly as compared to other songs in their catalog. Off of their other Mosher Delight Promo, the song O.T.W.S develops into Past, Present, Future off their album which is not readily apparent without having listened to their entire discography. Wild Side has been one of my favorite hardcore bands since I first found them, their songs make me feel Supercharged as I adore the lyrics' positive message to be yourself and fight for yourself and your beliefs but the instrumentals are just spectacular as well.
