Suffer No Fools

Suffer No Fools is a band from Houghton, Michigan which is up in the UP. They have a very powerful and almost icy sound behind them. The intro track of their album Soul Violence sets the tone for the entire album. The album artwork is absolutely amazing, it showcases the Houghton bridge and I feel perfectly captures the sound of the album with its icy font and vibrant colors. I saw them perform at the Milwaukee Punk and Hardcore Summer Jam which was hosted at the X-Ray Arcade in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Despite the fact they were one of the opening acts they had one of the heaviest and most fun sets I have ever been to. They will be coming back to the Milwaukee area on December 1st to play with some other hardcore bands from the Midwest at JJ's Bar and Grill in Franklin, Wisconsin. I had listened to them quite a bit before the show but after seeing their performance they quickly became one of my favorite hardcore bands ever.
